Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Special Education or related field
- Proficiency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Ability to adapt curriculum and instruction to accommodate a variety of learning needs
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience working in a school environment preferred
- Familiarity with behavioral intervention strategies is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, adapted instruction to students with varying abilities
- Develop, review, and update IEPs in collaboration with parents, staff, and specialists
- Utilize data-driven approaches to assess student progress and adjust teaching methods
- Partner with general education teachers to promote inclusive classroom practices
- Foster a safe, respectful, and supportive classroom atmosphere
- Engage parents and guardians in the educational process through regular communication
- Maintain thorough records of student progress, attendance, and compliance documentation
