Maintenance Manager The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations within the facility, ensuring equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and workplace safety. This role leads preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs while managing maintenance personnel, budgets, capital projects, and continuous improvement initiatives to support production goals and minimize downtime. - Lead, supervise, and develop maintenance technicians and support personnel.
- Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
- Ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of production equipment, machinery, utilities, and facility systems.
- Manage maintenance work orders and prioritize repairs to minimize production downtime.
- Monitor equipment performance and analyze maintenance metrics to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs and maintenance documentation.
- Coordinate equipment installations, upgrades, modifications, and capital improvement projects.
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure critical components are available when needed.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and operations teams to support manufacturing objectives.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for equipment failures and recurring issues.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, including labor, materials, and contractor expenses.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance equipment performance.
- Train employees on maintenance procedures, equipment operation, and safety practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC, and automation systems.
- Experience troubleshooting PLCs, industrial controls, and automated equipment.
- Proficiency with CMMS software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
