Maintenance Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to join our apartment community team. This role is responsible for maintaining the property, completing work orders, and ensuring residents receive timely, high-quality service.

***This is a short term contract (4 - 5 Weeks)***

Responsibilities:

Perform general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry
Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders efficiently
Conduct preventive maintenance and property inspections
Prepare vacant units for new residents (turns/make-readies)
Maintain grounds, common areas, and building systems
Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures
Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance needs

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Previous apartment maintenance or related experience preferred
Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repairs
Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work indoors/outdoors
Must have own set of tools to bring onsite
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
