Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialized opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist to serve as the Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC) for a developing pharmacy in Lancaster, PA. This position is ideal for a professional with a strong background in pharmacy start-up operations and leadership, holding a clear and active Pennsylvania pharmacist license. The role starts part-time with the potential to transition to full-time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the pharmacy through all phases of licensure, inspection, and accreditation.
- Manage pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Oversee pharmacy staff and provide professional guidance.
- Implement policies and procedures to establish efficient and safe pharmacy practices.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in Pennsylvania.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmacy management.
- Proven experience with pharmacy start-up operations.
- In-depth knowledge of licensure, inspection, and accreditation processes.
