Special Education Teacher - Minneapolis, MN

Make a real impact as a Special Education Teacher supporting students across a dynamic and diverse district in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. You'll engage daily with Settings 3 Autism programs at both primary and secondary levels—a unique opportunity to advance your skills and make a lasting difference.

Requirements:

• Valid Minnesota teaching license in Special Education is mandatory
• Previous experience in SPED settings (Autism preferred) at elementary or secondary levels
• Strong adaptability—caseloads may shift as district coverage needs evolve
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and fellow educators
• Thorough, proactive, and organized approach to documentation and compliance

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and interventions according to each student’s IEP
• Collaborate closely with instructional teams, related service providers, and families
• Maintain compliance with state and district policies regarding reporting, IEP meetings, and progress monitoring
• Support a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Foster social, emotional, and academic growth for students with varied learning profiles
