We are seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy for K-12 students. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time hours, with ongoing potential for professional growth.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP-CCC credential
- State licensure (Texas) or eligibility
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to participate in multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring procedures in educational settings
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments across diverse student populations
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals in coordination with staff and families
- Deliver both individual and group therapy, adapting strategies to meet varying needs
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school and state requirements
- Consult with teachers, families, and educational professionals to support students’ generalization of skills in the classroom
- Contribute to case conferences, IEP meetings, and professional development initiatives
