Make a genuine impact as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting elementary-aged learners in a fulfilling, school-based setting. This full-time contract opportunity provides a consistent 40-hour workweek and runs from August 26, 2026, through June 7, 2027. You'll play a key role in helping students develop communication skills—essential to both classroom success and everyday life—while enjoying a collaborative educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current SLP license in Vermont (or ability to obtain licensure prior to start)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
  • Experience with school-aged and elementary populations preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Collaborative mindset, comfortable working with teachers, staff, and families

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage an elementary school caseload, delivering direct and indirect speech/language therapy services
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement IEP goals
  • Prepare thorough and timely documentation for IEPs, therapy sessions, and progress reports
  • Participate in student support meetings, focusing solely on speech-related services—no bus duty or non-therapeutic school assignments
  • Offer support and guidance to staff and families regarding communication strategies
