Position Overview:
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
School-year assignment
Caseload of up to 55 students
Collaborative educational environment
Opportunity to work alongside teachers, administrators, and special education staff
An opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support students within a school setting for the 2026–2027 academic year. The selected provider will play a key role in helping students strengthen communication skills that support educational achievement and overall development.
Essential Functions:
Conduct speech and language screenings, assessments, and evaluations
Provide individualized therapy services based on student goals
Develop recommendations and treatment strategies
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Maintain accurate service records and progress reporting
Consult with families and school personnel regarding student needs
Location: Elizabeth City, NC 27909
Schedule: 37.5 Hours per Week
Contract Dates: August 12, 2026 – June 7, 2027
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active North Carolina SLP License or eligibility to obtain licensure
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
School-based experience preferred
