Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid license or certification as a school psychologist in Texas
- Previous experience working as a school psychologist, particularly in a school or educational setting
- Strong evaluation and report-writing skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 60-80 students, performing 8-10 evaluations monthly
- Proficient in counseling, behavioral interventions, and recommending accommodations
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work across 2-3 sites with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organization skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
- Develop and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to create supportive learning environments
- Deliver counseling and intervention services to students as needed
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of evaluations and reports
- Serve as a resource to school staff regarding student behavior, classroom management, and crisis intervention
- Travel between assigned school sites and manage schedules efficiently
