Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Proficient in conducting evaluations, writing reports, and implementing interventions
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and special education law

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect psychological services to students individually and in groups
  • Conduct psychoeducational and behavioral assessments and contribute to eligibility determinations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective interventions and support Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Offer consultation and guidance to teachers and parents
  • Help design and implement positive behavioral interventions and crisis response strategies
  • Maintain thorough, compliant documentation and participate in ongoing professional development
