Make a lasting impact supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist throughout the 2026–2027 school year. This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated professional with strong clinical skills, a passion for working with children, and a commitment to collaborative, school-based service. You’ll work on-site in an engaging elementary environment alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications:

  • Active and valid Texas SLP license (required)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
  • Previous experience in a school setting, especially with elementary-aged students
  • Expertise in conducting thorough evaluations and developing individualized IEP goals
  • Exceptional skills in communication, documentation, and collaboration
  • Ability to commit to a full-time schedule (40 hours per week) for the full school year
  • Strong organizational abilities and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 40 elementary students needing speech and language services
  • Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and direct/indirect therapy
  • Create, implement, and update IEPs in partnership with educational staff and families
  • Consult and collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and special education personnel
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with district and legal standards
  • Participate in meetings and professional development to enhance your impact
