Qualifications:

  • Current Minnesota Special Education Teaching License or eligibility for licensure
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning abilities is a plus
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly and build relationships with students, staff, and families

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to adapt instructional strategies as needed for individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and small group instruction based on students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

  • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure comprehensive support
  • Maintain accurate records, including IEP documentation and student assessments
  • Create a safe, encouraging classroom atmosphere that supports emotional and academic success
  • Participate in meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
