Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field
- Holds an active California license or credential appropriate to the position
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Commitment to collaborative, student-centered care
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group counseling to students referred for mental health support
- Conduct assessments and develop intervention strategies tailored to student needs
- Work in partnership with teachers, administrators, and families to design and implement support plans
- Maintain accurate records and comply with district and state reporting policies
- Support crisis intervention efforts and contribute to a positive school climate
