a diversified oilfield services provider operating primarily in \n

\nthe Bakken. Our service lines include wellhead and valve services, pressure testing,\n

\ninspection and NDT, trucking, crane services, torque and test, and welding and fabrication.\n

\nWe serve leading E&P operators across the Williston Basin and are actively expanding our\n

\nfootprint and service offerings.\n

\nWe are seeking a proven sales leader to own and grow top-line revenue while \n
\n
\nbuilding and directing a high-performing sales organization. This is a senior "player-coach"\n
\n
\nrole: you will personally drive business development with the largest E&P operators in the\n
\n
\nBakken and provide the structure, cadence, and leadership our sales team needs to\n
\n
\nconsistently land and expand large accounts.\n
\n
\nThe ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of the Bakken region and/or wellhead and\n
\n
\ndownhole service lines, a documented track record of winning significant work with major\n
\n
\nBakken-area E&P companies, and strong marketing instincts to position NOS\n
\n
\ncompetitively in the market.\n
\n
Requirements\n
\n
\nPersonally develop and close large contracts with major Bakken-area E&P operators, \n
\n
\nprioritizing named target accounts.\n
\n
\nBuild and maintain executive- and field-level relationships across drilling,\n
\n
\ncompletions, production, and procurement functions at target operators.\n
\n
\nTrack rig activity, AFEs, and upcoming work to identify and pursue opportunities\n
\n
\nahead of the bid.\n
\n
\nLead prequalification efforts (e.g., ISNetworld, Avetta) required to win and retainwork with larger operators.\n
\n
\nSales Leadership & Team Direction\n
\n
\nDirect, coach, and hold accountable our sales team; set individual targets,\n
\n
\nterritories, and named account assignments.\n
\n
\nEstablish and enforce a consistent sales cadence - weekly pipeline reviews, call/visit\n
\n
\nexpectations, and forecasting discipline.\n
\n
\nMove the team from a service/relationship ("farmer") posture toward a proactive,\n
\n
\nopportunity-driven ("hunter") model with clear account ownership.\n
\n
\nBuild and maintain the CRM/pipeline discipline needed for accurate forecasting and\n
\n
\nreporting to leadership.\n
\n
\nMarketing & Positioning\n
\n
\nOwn market positioning and messaging across service lines; ensure the value\n
\n
\nproposition is clear and differentiated.\n
\n
\nDevelop marketing collateral, capabilities materials, and campaigns that support the\n
\n
\nsales effort.\n
\n
\nRepresent the company at industry events, trade shows, and operator functions.\n
\n
\nProvide market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and emerging opportunities to\n
\n
\ninform strategy.\n

\nPartner with the COO and operations leadership to align capacity, capabilities, and\n
\n
\npricing with market demand.\n
\n
\nIdentify and evaluate expansion opportunities - new service lines, adjacent markets\n
\n
\n(e.g., Powder River Basin, SCOOP/STACK), and midstream customers.\n
\n
\nProvide input on service line development based on customer demand and\n
\n
\ncompetitive gaps.\n
\n
\nRequired Qualifications\n
\n
\nExtensive knowledge of the Bakken/Williston Basin and/or wellhead and valve\n
\n
\nservice lines.\n
\n
\nProven, documented track record of landing large jobs and contracts with larger\n
\n
\nBakken-area E&P companies.\n
\n
\nDemonstrated experience building and directing a sales team.\n
\n
\nStrong marketing background - positioning, messaging, and campaign\n
\n
\ndevelopment.\n
\n
\nExcellent relationship-building skills at both the executive and field levels.\n
\n
\nAbility and willingness to travel regularly to the Bakken and to customer sites.\n
\n
\nSelf-directed and results-oriented, comfortable operating remotely with\n
\n
\naccountability for revenue outcomes.\n

\nPreferred Qualifications\n

\nExisting relationships with major Bakken E&P operators (e.g., Devon, Hess,\n

\nConocoPhillips, Continental, Chord, and peers).\n

\nExperience selling across multiple oilfield service lines (inspection/NDT, pressure\n

\ntesting, fabrication, trucking/cranes, torque and test).\n
\n
\nFamiliarity with operator prequalification systems (ISNetworld, Avetta) and the\n

\nbid/AFE process.\n
\n
\nExperience with midstream customers and/or multi-basin expansion.\n

\nCRM proficiency and comfort with data-driven pipeline management.\n
