Accounting Supervisor Olathe, KS | Fully Onsite Full-Time | Direct Hire| $60-65K LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnered with a manufacturing company in Olathe, KS who is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Supervisor to support daily accounting operations with a primary focus on Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) activities. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial transactions, maintaining compliance with accounting procedures, and supporting the overall efficiency of the accounting function. The Accounting Supervisor will work closely with leadership to improve processes and support month-end close activities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accounting Operations Oversight
- Support daily accounts receivable and accounts payable activities.
- Assist with overflow AR and AP responsibilities as needed.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.

Accounts Receivable & Payable Management
- Review accounts receivable invoices for accuracy within the accounting system.
- Review and approve accounts payable invoices prepared by support staff.

Month-End Close & Financial Support
- Prepare month-end journal entries related to accrued accounts payable.
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliations during the month-end close process
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
- Experience working with accounting systems and financial reporting tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional discretion when handling confidential financial information.
