This full-time, contract role presents an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive educational setting near Burbank, IL, with a total of 10 positions available. As a valued member of the special education team, you will foster the growth and development of students by creating inclusive, effective learning environments tailored to individual needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Special Education Teaching certification
  • Experience or training working with K-8th grade students
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills
  • Passion for empowering students with diverse learning needs
  • Ability to adapt instruction to accommodate a variety of learners

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, specialized instruction to K–8 students with varying exceptionalities
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
  • Utilize evidence-based classroom management and instructional strategies
  • Collect and analyze student data to inform instructional decisions
  • Provide consistent communication and support to families and staff
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that celebrates student achievements
