Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Westport, CT

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience in school settings, particularly with adolescents
• Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to work full-time hours for the duration of the assignment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for high school students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and targeted therapy sessions
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student progress
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school procedures
• Guide students in building effective communication skills and confidence
• Provide timely documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed
