This full-time assignment covers a maternity leave from August through December and focuses on an engaging high school caseload. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in school settings, particularly with adolescents
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work full-time hours for the duration of the assignment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for high school students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and targeted therapy sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school procedures
- Guide students in building effective communication skills and confidence
- Provide timely documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed
