Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist or Clinical Fellow (CFY) for the 2026-2027 academic year. This onsite role offers 35 hours weekly and provides the chance to make a significant impact on learners aged 2 to 22 with a range of moderate to severe disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver individualized speech-language therapy, addressing assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language skills, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and receptive/expressive language delays.
- Perform diagnostic and evaluation assessments, interpreting data to guide intervention strategies.
- Produce clear, insightful reports based on comprehensive evaluations and student observations.
- Support development and implementation of IEP objectives to ensure student progress.
- Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, and educational teams on students’ needs and developmental goals.
- Adapt to diverse situations and needs, demonstrating flexibility and strong problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
- Must possess, or be eligible to obtain, an Indiana Professional License (IPLA) and teaching certification from the Department of Education (IDOE).
- SLP or Clinical Fellow (CFY) status required.
- Prefer one to two years of prior SLP experience, especially working in school settings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills essential, along with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
- Ability to respond creatively to challenges and demonstrate compassion with students.
