Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Oak Lawn, IL

Desired Background and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• Current state licensure and active SLP credentials
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; SLPs in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are welcome to apply
• Previous experience working in a school setting, specifically with pediatric populations
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms considered a plus
• Strong organizational skills and ability to travel between sites
• Proficient in completing student evaluations, setting measurable goals, and writing comprehensive progress reports

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload of pre-K to 8th-grade students
• Manage scheduling and direct therapy services across two nearby school sites
• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborative team discussions
• Document progress and maintain accurate records as required
