Job Description
Rainier Recruiting is partnered with a large medical supply and equipment company whois seeking a leader to take their sales team to the next level. The Sales Manager will lead a team of 5-10 Sales Representatives who are responsible for driving new customer acquisition in competitive, small-ticket, high-volume sales environment. This isn’t a role for a passive manager—it’s for someone who thrives on coaching, accountability, and results.
\nThe ideal candidate comes from a background where activity, structure, and discipline are non-negotiable. Someone with a history in sales training, structured sales organizations, or even sports coaching will find this role especially rewarding.
\nCompensation: $100,000-125,000 base / $150,000-175,000 OTE (negotiable depending on experience)

\nWhat You’ll Do
\n- \n
- Coach, not just manage: Roleplay, field shadowing, pre/post call reviews, and continuous hands-on development. \n
- Drive accountability: Ensure high-activity reps (6+ appointments/week, ~15 hours of phone prospecting, and field prospecting) consistently hit targets. \n
- Enforce structure: Apply proven processes (e.g., WEDGE, Sandler, Challenger, MEDDIC or other structured sales methodologies) and hold reps to them. \n
- Measure and improve: Track performance through CRM, ERP, Excel, and dashboards to spot trends, diagnose gaps, and coach accordingly. \n
- Inspire performance: Build trust, motivate through empathy, and instill urgency, intensity, and resilience in the team. \n
What We’re Looking For

- Experience: 5+ years in sales leadership, ideally within structured, high-activity, small-ticket sales environments (Cintas, Unifirst, ADP, Paychex, Paycom, Staples, or similar). \n
- Style: Strong communicator who commands respect, quick thinker, compassionate but firm, with a coaching mindset. \n
- Metrics-Driven: Demonstrated ability to use KPIs (call volume, appointments, close rates) to drive performance. \n
- Backgrounds that fit: Sports coaching, sales training, or any role where structure, discipline, and accountability are core. \n
- Requirements: \n
- Must live in the Seattle area (Tukwila office – 100% in-office when not traveling) \n
- Up to 50% travel (Seattle, Portland, Denver) \n
- Vaccinated, non-smoker preferred \n
