A specialty compounding pharmacy in Kennett Square, PA, seeks a skilled Sterile Compounding Pharmacist for a 13-week contract to hire opportunity. This role offers a chance to apply your expertise in sterile and non-sterile compounding while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and delivering safe, high-quality medications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare compounded sterile and non-sterile medications accurately following master formula worksheets and SOPs.
  • Ensure strict adherence to USP and other regulatory guidelines for sterile compounding.
  • Perform and document necessary calculations and quality control tests to guarantee medication purity, potency, and safety.
  • Operate and monitor production and computerized equipment in compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain aseptic techniques, cleaning procedures, and proper garbing protocols.
  • Stay current on advancements in compounding formulations, techniques, and industry regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance compounding pharmacy skills.

Qualifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license is required.
  • Recent experience in pharmacy practice.
  • Proven experience in sterile compounding is mandatory.
  • Open to new graduates eager to develop skills in a dynamic compounding environment.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, shifts available from 8:00 am–4:30 pm, 9:00 am–5:30 pm, or 10:30 am–7:00 pm.
