Step into a dynamic role supporting young learners in an elementary setting for the 2025/2026 school year! An opportunity awaits for dedicated Special Education Teachers to make a genuine difference in students' lives. We are seeking four full-time Early Childhood Special Educators to serve on a contract basis for the full academic year, starting August 2026 through June 2027. This position offers a chance to collaborate with a passionate team in a supportive environment focused on growth and inclusion.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Dual certification in both Special Education and Elementary Education (required)
  • Previous experience working with elementary-age students, particularly in early childhood special education settings
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development, instructional strategies, and differentiated teaching practices
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, support staff, and multidisciplinary teams
  • A positive, patient, and proactive approach to fostering student development

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing an elementary caseload, implementing individualized education plans and driving measurable progress
  • Creating a welcoming, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment tailored to diverse learning needs
  • Developing and delivering specialized instruction based on IEP goals, adapting lessons as necessary to support student success
  • Assessing student progress, documenting achievements, and maintaining regular communication with families and colleagues
  • Collaborating effectively with paraprofessionals and related service providers to ensure holistic support
