Job Description

This full-time, contract opportunity spans the 2026-2027 school year from August 3, 2026, through June 3, 2027, offering an engaging schedule of 40 hours weekly (8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday). The setting bridges both inclusion and pull-out models, working across middle school and occasionally elementary (K-8th) environments alongside supportive colleagues.

Key Requirements:
- Valid Minnesota Tier 3 or 4 Special Education teaching license
- Experience with K-8th grade students, especially middle schoolers
- Strong knowledge of IEP planning, differentiated instruction, and data-driven intervention strategies
- Collaborative spirit to partner with general educators, paraprofessionals, and families
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility to provide both pull-out instruction and inclusion services as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, adapt, and implement individualized education plans for students with diverse learning needs
- Provide direct instruction and support, both in pull-out and inclusive settings
- Collect and analyze data to inform instructional decisions
- Communicate regularly with families and the multidisciplinary education team
- Uphold compliance with all state and federal special education regulations
- Contribute actively to IEP meetings and ongoing student evaluations
