Job Description

Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity where your passion for speech and language therapy can make a tangible difference in students’ lives. This contract position for the 2026-2027 school year offers 35 hours per week in an onsite setting, supporting students with diverse communication needs. Both licensed Speech-Language Pathologists and Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities in this role include planning and delivering targeted speech-language services for students aged 2 to 22, addressing needs such as assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language skills, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, and delays in receptive and expressive language development. You’ll conduct comprehensive diagnostic and evaluation assessments, delivering clear, insightful reports to inform ongoing support. Working comfortably with students with moderate to severe disabilities, you’ll develop and maintain IEP objectives and collaborate with both parents and colleagues to ensure holistic support for each student’s developmental journey.

Candidates should possess or be eligible for an Indiana Professional License (IPLA) and a teaching license from the Department of Education (IDOE). At least one to two years of experience as a school-based SLP is preferred, along with strong communication skills and a track record of effective teamwork. Flexibility and creative problem-solving are essential to adapting interventions and collaborating across disciplines.

This position provides competitive compensation based on experience, weekly pay, and comprehensive healthcare benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage. You’ll join a dedicated group of professionals committed to helping every student achieve their full potential within a supportive environment.

If you’re ready to make a meaningful impact and advance your career in a collaborative school setting, submit your application today and help shape brighter futures for students.
