Qualifications and Experience

  • Current and valid OT license
  • Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Understanding of IEP processes and special education regulations
  • Proficiency in evaluating and implementing individualized therapy plans
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic strategies to diverse needs and age groups

Role Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments to identify students' OT needs within the academic context
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans in compliance with IEPs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and parents to ensure coordinated support
  • Document student progress, write reports, and maintain accurate records
  • Contribute expertise during IEP meetings and staff consultations
  • Train school staff in accommodations, modifications, and strategies to support student participation
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports student growth
