In this role, you will focus on special education evaluations, participate in REEDs, and contribute to the IEP process for diverse student populations. Enjoy a consistent, 36-hour work week spanning from late August to mid-November, providing essential services during a vital school period.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology
- Current state certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Strong experience with special education evaluations, conducting REEDs, and facilitating IEP meetings
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Experience working with PreK through Middle School students preferred
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments, including SPED evaluations
- Lead and participate in Review of Existing Evaluation Data (REED) meetings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and review IEPs
- Provide insights and recommendations to support student achievement and emotional wellbeing
- Consult with teachers, families, and administrators to create supportive learning environments
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
