Job Description
Enhance students' learning experiences as a School Psychologist in a supportive school environment near Strongsville, OH. This contract opportunity runs from late August 2026 through early June 2027, offering 37.5 hours per week in a single school building with a caseload of approximately 40-50 students. In this dynamic role, you’ll play an important part in providing vital psychological services, conducting evaluations, managing IEPs, facilitating interventions, and supporting students’ emotional and academic success.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist in Ohio
- Strong background in conducting psychoeducational assessments and evaluations
- Experience developing, writing, and managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Skilled in providing direct and consultative services to students, staff, and families
- Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for special education services
- Develop, review, and update IEPs in compliance with state and federal requirements
- Deliver individual and group interventions to support students’ academic and emotional growth
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to implement evidence-based strategies
- Document all services and maintain accurate records in line with professional and legal standards
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings focused on student outcomes
