Qualifications:

  • Hold an active California Physical Therapist License
  • School-based experience is a plus, though enthusiastic new graduates are welcome to apply
  • Demonstrate excellent communication abilities with students, families, and staff
  • Bring strong collaboration skills and a passion for fostering student success

Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with individualized education programs (IEPs) and district policies
  • Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and deliver interventions designed to increase mobility, strength, and independence
  • Consult regularly with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities and home routines
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation for assessments, therapy sessions, and student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations to ensure comprehensive student support
  • Adapt therapy techniques and equipment to meet the diverse needs of each student
  • Promote a safe and inclusive environment for all students
