Join Our Team as an OB Hospitalist (Nocturnist)

We are excited to announce an opportunity for OB Hospitalists (Nocturnists) to become part of a new and rapidly expanding program in the scenic region of Spartanburg, South Carolina. This position allows you to thrive in a high-volume, well-supported clinical setting while maintaining a favorable work-life balance through a nocturnist schedule.

Program Highlights:
  • A bustling 14-bed Labor & Delivery unit with over 3,800 deliveries each year and approximately 12,000 OBED encounters.
  • Collaboration with an OBGYN residency program, offering teaching opportunities and teamwork.
  • Hospitalists are responsible for all deliveries, emergency OB consultations, and coverage for a 6-bed OBED.
  • A double physician coverage model complemented by Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) support.
  • Access to 24/7 in-house OB anesthesia, a Level III NICU, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialists.
Role Responsibilities:
  • Provide coverage for OBED, emergency, and unassigned patients.
  • Deliver call coverage and assist private OB/GYN physicians during deliveries and gynecological emergencies.
  • Work collaboratively with private OB/GYNs, who will manage their own post-operative patients.
Schedule:
  • Full-time commitment: 12-14 shifts per 4-week period.
  • 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Potential earnings exceeding $400,000 annually.
