Registered Nurse (RN) - Psychiatric Care

This position offers a day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, for a total of 36 hours per week with rotating weekend hours.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Psychiatric Care team. The RN will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care for adult patients, managing their mental health needs, and contributing to a therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities

\n
• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
\n
• Provide direct nursing care and administer medications as prescribed.
\n
• Engage with patients in therapeutic communication and support their emotional well-being.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and treatment outcomes.
\n
• Document patient progress in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
\n

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

\n
• Current unencumbered RN license in the state.
\n
• BLS (AHA) certification.
\n
• Handle With Care (HWC) certification (can be completed on-site).
\n
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
\n
• Previous experience in psychiatric health care settings is preferred.
\n
