Electrical Engineer

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering

• 2+ years of experience designing or configuring electrical power distribution equipment

• Ability to read and interpret:

• One-line diagrams

• Electrical schematics

• Customer specifications

• Experience creating electrical drawings and design packages

• Strong understanding of electrical power systems

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems preferred)

• Medium-voltage protection and control systems experience

• AutoCAD Electrical and/or Engineering Base experience

• Knowledge of ANSI, IEEE, UL, and NEMA standards

• Experience with medium-voltage switchgear

• Siemens product experience

• Experience supporting data center, utility, semiconductor, or industrial projects

Job Description

This engineer will design and configure medium-voltage electrical switchgear systems (4.16kV–38kV) for customer projects. They will review customer electrical requirements, create design drawings and schematics, work with project engineers, and support manufacturing to ensure projects are delivered correctly and on time.
