Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A temporary pharmacist position is available to provide coverage on August 6 and 7, 2026, at an independent retail pharmacy in Hatch, NM. This role requires overseeing daily pharmacy operations, verifying prescriptions, counseling patients, and collaborating closely with pharmacy technicians.
Location: Hatch, NM
Schedule:
- August 6 and 7, 2026
- 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM each day
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately verify and dispense up to 200 prescriptions per day
- Counsel patients regarding medication use and safety
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
- Collaborate effectively with pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and accuracy
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Active New Mexico pharmacist license in good standing
- Experience in retail or independent pharmacy settings preferred
- Comfort managing a prescription volume of approximately 170–200 per day
- Familiarity with Rx30 pharmacy system is a plus but not required
- Excellent communication and patient service skills
