Step into a rewarding role shaping the educational journey for students as a Special Education Teacher supporting a variety of programs. This contract opportunity, located near Red Rock, AZ, offers five onsite positions across elementary, middle, and K-8 settings. Assignments include roles in adaptive, behavior, and resource programs tailored to distinct student needs. Teacher responsibilities begin with orientation on July 20, 2026, followed by student engagement from July 29, 2026, through May 20, 2027.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Arizona Department of Education Special Education Certification
  • Current, active fingerprint clearance card
  • Experience working within behavior, adaptive, or resource programs at elementary or middle school levels
  • Strong skills in individualized education program (IEP) development and implementation
  • Ability to foster a supportive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
  • Effective communication with families, staff, and multidisciplinary teams

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver direct instruction tailored to students' unique learning and behavioral needs
  • Develop, implement, and review IEPs in accordance with district and state guidelines
  • Collaborate with paraprofessionals and related service providers to maximize student achievement
  • Support students in developing academic, adaptive, and social-emotional skills
  • Maintain thorough progress records and participate in parent meetings and team conferences
  • Engage in new teacher orientation and ongoing professional development throughout the assignment
