Inspire and support student achievement as a Special Education Teacher in a vibrant educational setting. Multiple contract positions are available for dedicated professionals to make a meaningful impact from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027. Openings span elementary, middle, and high school levels: one position for Autistic Support at the elementary level, one for Learning Support at the middle school level, and four for Learning Support at the high school level. This role offers a fulfilling, structured environment, serving a diverse community of learners near Allentown, PA.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate required by the start date
  • Emergency permits considered with HR sponsorship
  • Prior experience working with students with special needs strongly preferred
  • Enthusiasm for supporting learners with IEPs and diverse learning profiles
  • Strong collaboration and classroom management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field

Your Role:

  • Provide specialized instruction tailored to meet the needs of students in your assigned program (Autistic Support or Learning Support)
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive, and positive classroom climate
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to drive student progress
  • Collect data, track progress, and adapt instruction to each student’s unique needs
  • Participate in school-based meetings, parent conferences, and required professional development

Position Details:

  • Contract runs from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027
  • Commitment of 35 hours per week
  • Elementary schedule: 8:15 AM – 3:45 PM
  • Middle school schedule: 7:15 AM – 2:45 PM
  • High school schedule: 7:13 AM – 2:43 PM
