Job Description

Key Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Special Education Teaching Certification
- Experience working in special education, preferably with inclusion or life skills settings
- Strong commitment to individualized instruction and collaborative teamwork
- Compassion, flexibility, and excellent communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to a diverse group of elementary or high school students
- Foster an inclusive, positive classroom atmosphere to address varying abilities and needs
- Collaborate closely with fellow teachers, support staff, and families to drive student achievement
- Employ effective instructional strategies in accordance with best practices and school policies
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and required records
- Participate in regular team meetings, professional development, and school events
Enjoy a structured full-time schedule of 35–37.5 hours weekly, Monday through Friday. The pay rate for this opportunity is $40 per hour, with weekly pay for added convenience.
