Step into a rewarding full-time contract opportunity as a dedicated Special Education professional working with K-5 students. Located in the Denver area and based on-site, this position focuses on delivering high-quality Math instruction as well as case management for a group of approximately 10 students, supporting all 20 within the classroom. The assignment is at a single elementary school, fostering strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues.

You’ll be the instructional leader in collaboration with 3-4 paraprofessionals, strategizing to ensure each student receives the individualized attention and support they need for academic and social success. Expect a collaborative interview process conducted virtually via Google Meets, with district staff ready to learn how your skills can benefit their students.

Key Qualifications:

  • High school diploma (required); bachelor’s degree or higher (preferred)
  • Special Education Teacher certification and relevant state endorsements
  • Strong background in elementary-level Math instruction or ability to develop specialized Math curricula
  • Experience managing IEPs and casefiles for students with varied learning needs
  • Demonstrated leadership in classrooms with paraprofessional staff
  • Ability to foster an inclusive classroom climate and engage collaboratively with families and team members
  • Willingness to complete background check through the district upon contingent offer

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct Math instruction tailored to K-5 learners
  • Case manage approximately 10 students while teaching up to 20
  • Supervise and guide 3-4 paraprofessionals in daily activities and interventions
  • Collaborate in preparing and implementing IEPs, progress reporting, and supporting compliance
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with staff and parents

This position operates Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week, from August 6, 2026, through May 26, 2027.
