We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school team in Blue Springs, MO. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed SLP who is passionate about helping elementary-aged students develop the communication skills they need to succeed academically and socially.

You'll work alongside an experienced educational team, including an on-site Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLP-A) who supports service delivery 2-3 days per week and another in-house SLP who provides SLP-A supervision.

Position Highlights

Caseload Details

  • 21 students on caseload management
  • 76 total students receiving speech-language services (includes the 21 case-managed students)
  • SLP-A assists with direct service delivery
  • Primary responsibilities include case management, evaluations, IEP participation, and direct/indirect speech-language services

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to elementary students
  • Manage and monitor a caseload of 21 students
  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and district regulations
  • Coordinate services and support the work of the SLP-A as needed

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Missouri Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Clinical Fellowship candidates may be considered
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
