Make a meaningful difference in young lives by supporting children ages 18 months to 6 years as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract role offers the opportunity to serve a diverse caseload of approximately 40 students, providing dedicated services in a school-based setting near Tijeras, NM. The assignment begins on August 3, 2026, and extends through June 4, 2027, allowing you to build lasting connections with your students and professional colleagues.

Candidates with ASHA certification (CCC-SLP), recent SLP-CFYs, and those with experience in pediatric or school-based roles are encouraged to apply. You'll become a trusted advocate for early childhood communication and language development, fostering growth and progress with each student interaction.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state SLP license or eligibility for licensure
  • ASHA CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) in progress
  • Experience working with children ages 18 months to 6 years preferred
  • Familiarity with school-based therapy processes and IEPs
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Compassion, adaptability, and dedication to student success

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student goals
  • Track student progress and maintain detailed documentation
