School Registered Nurse | Hanover, New Hampshire

A contract opportunity is available in the Enfield, NH area for an experienced Registered Nurse eager to support elementary students’ wellness and educational success. This rewarding position runs from August 2026 through June 2027, with full-time daytime hours during the school week.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active RN license required (no LPNs considered)
• Prior school nursing experience preferred, or strong clinical background with a passion for working with children
• Knowledge of health assessment, first aid, chronic condition management, and medication administration within a school setting
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with staff, students, and families in a positive and supportive manner
• Current CPR and First Aid certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary health resource for an elementary caseload, providing direct care and promoting healthy school environments
• Conduct wellness checks, manage daily medications, and respond to student illnesses or emergencies
• Develop and implement care plans for students with chronic or acute health conditions
• Maintain accurate health records, immunizations, and reports in compliance with district and state requirements
• Educate students and staff on health practices, disease prevention, and safety protocols
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that supports children’s academic and personal growth
• Communicate regularly with families and school staff about student health needs
