School Physical Therapist | Bear, Delaware

You’ll collaborate with school staff to promote student achievement and independence, working a consistent schedule Monday through Friday with options for full-time or part-time hours (up to 37.5 per week). Your primary assignment will be at a school site, and you’ll also assist with the needs of students requiring at-home therapy interventions. As the caseload may shift during the year, adaptability and strong communication are valued.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Active Physical Therapist license for Delaware
• Experience delivering therapy services in pediatric or educational settings preferred
• Willingness to provide home visits for students with unique medical needs
• Ability to manage varying caseloads with professionalism and best practices
• Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills
• Must provide current resume and Delaware PT license for consideration

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans in accordance with student IEPs
• Travel within the district to support both site-based and homebound students
• Coordinate care with educational and healthcare teams to maximize student progress
• Document evaluations, session notes, and progress reports in a timely manner
• Adjust interventions to align with student needs and changing caseloads throughout the year
• Engage with families and educators to foster student growth and functional independence
