Step into a vital role supporting high school students by serving as a skilled Educational Diagnostician on a full-time contract basis for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This in-person position is best suited for those who excel at conducting ARDs and evaluations while collaborating closely with ARD Specialists within a campus community. The assignment runs from August 12, 2026, to May 27, 2027, with the opportunity to make a meaningful difference each day.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification is required
  • Demonstrated experience (preferably multiple years) working as an Ed Diag in Texas public school settings
  • Deep familiarity with ARD procedures, compliance documentation, and evaluation practices for high school-aged students
  • Proficiency managing full-time caseload responsibilities (40 hours per week)
  • Must be comfortable and committed to working on-site throughout the contract duration
  • Successful completion of district fingerprinting and background check prior to start date

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out comprehensive educational evaluations for a diverse population of high school students
  • Participate in, and potentially lead, ARD/IEP meetings, collaborating alongside ARD Specialists when appropriate
  • Accurately document assessment findings and evaluation results in line with district policies
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families to ensure compliance and support for individualized education plans
  • Contribute expert opinions and data-driven recommendations to guide student services and interventions
