Facility Helper (Janitorial)

12-month contract w/ extensions!

Work Arrangement: On site, FT, 8514 Sunstate Street, Tampa FL 33634

Essential Functions

• Provide day-to-day general facility maintenance
• Service, clean and stock restrooms, kitchens or other areas of the building and grounds
• Perform regular inspections of facility and equipment to maintain a safe working environment
• Identify and repair any potential safety or security hazards
• Operate utility vehicles and power tools, as required.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a safe working environment
• Ensure that all work is done efficiently and adheres to aviation safety regulations and industry best practices
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education / Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• 0-2 years facilities or entry level mechanic related experience

Physical Demands

• Occasionally required to operate motor vehicle
• Frequently experience a high level of noise, adverse weather, or temperature conditions
• Constantly required to stand for extended periods of time
• Occasionally required to operate hand tools, equipment, heavy machinery
• Frequently required to reach overhead and frequently reach at/below shoulder level
