Certified Licensed School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Burnsville, North Carolina

Step into a rewarding contract position as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist and make a lasting difference in the lives of students. This full-time opportunity is designed for a certified, licensed SLP ready to support K-12 learners (with a focus on elementary grades) for the upcoming school year, from August 17th through May 28th. You'll manage a diverse caseload of 40-50 students spanning six different schools, with the unique benefit of setting your own schedule to best accommodate student needs and your own work-life balance.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Speech-Language Pathologist license and certification required
• Prior experience in school settings, especially with elementary-aged learners, preferred

• Motivation to collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication difficulties
• Deliver direct therapy sessions and monitor student progress
• Write and maintain thorough documentation for IEP meetings, evaluations, and ongoing student needs
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student growth
• Travel between assigned schools and manage a flexible work schedule
