Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in a school-based setting near beautiful Mount Lemmon, AZ. This contract opportunity is for the full school year and requires your expertise for 2 days each week. Whether you hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), are a Clinical Fellow (CFY), or are an SLPA looking for experience in schools, you’ll help empower students on their communication journeys in a collaborative and supportive environment. If applying as an SLPA, supervision will be provided to ensure your success and growth.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as an SLP (CCC), SLP-CFY, or SLPA
  • Experience or genuine interest in school-based practice
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with educators and support staff
  • Excellent communication, organization, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Genuine passion for working with children and supporting diverse student populations
  • Strong documentation and time management abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to eligible students
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to reports as required
  • For SLPA candidates: work under the supervision and guidance of a certified SLP
