This assignment offers four full-time, onsite positions beginning August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027—one at the elementary level, one at middle school, and two in high schools (see specific hours below). You’ll collaborate with talented colleagues dedicated to student success and community engagement.
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification/licensure for caseload required
- School-based experience is essential
- Bachelor’s degree required (for emergency permit)
- Completion of all PA clearances necessary
- Strong classroom and behavioral management skills
- Proven comfort and experience in urban school environments
- Reliable transportation and ability to meet determined schedule
- Willingness to interview via Zoom
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate mastery of subject matter and instructional skill
- Develop and deliver lessons aligned with state/district standards
- Use formative assessments and differentiation to drive instruction
- Maintain classroom order and adapt strategies to diverse needs
Openings & Hours:
- 1 Elementary: 8:30AM–4PM
- 1 Middle School: 8:30AM–4PM or 8AM–3:15PM (TBD)
- 2 High School: 7:15AM–2:45PM
- All roles: 35 hours/week, full-time, onsite
