SCHEDULE: This position requires nights, weekends and holidays.
HOURS: A standard shift will be provided, but will fluctuate at times.
FLEXIBILITY IS A MUST FOR THIS ROLE!
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance including, but not limited to oil changes and tune-ups on company vehicles, ambulances, heavy equipment, trailers, golf carts, and other motor vehicles.
- Accurately diagnose and effectively repair and or replace the parts and systems necessary including brake pads, belts, water pumps, transmissions, and other mechanical parts.
- Perform necessary testing and diagnostic assessment of parts, systems, and vehicles.
- Perform routine assessments on critical parts and systems.
- Properly test drive vehicle.
- Accurately maintain vehicle repair and maintenance records.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Two years of related experience with Ford and Chevy diesel engine diagnosis and repair preferred.
- Strong mechanical repair skills.
- MUST have your own tools. This company will assist in getting them to and from if needed.
- Ability to read service and repair manuals.
- Proficient with computer diagnostic equipment and software.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, effective time-management skills, analytical and problem solving skills, and strong attention to detail.
