AP/AR Specialist Location: Pittsburgh, PA Job Type: Contract About the Opportunity LHH is proactively recruiting for experienced Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) Specialists for upcoming contract opportunities in the Pittsburgh, PA area. We are seeking detail-oriented accounting professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and have a strong background in invoice processing, cash application, reconciliations, and collections. Key Responsibilities
  • Process vendor invoices and ensure timely, accurate payments.
  • Generate customer invoices, apply cash receipts, and maintain AR records.
  • Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Monitor aging reports and support collection efforts.
  • Research and resolve billing, payment, and vendor issues.
  • Assist with month-end close and financial reporting activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and support audit requests.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, vendors, and customers to ensure efficient financial operations.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or full-cycle AP/AR.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
Required Software Skills
  • Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and reconciliations)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Teams)
  • ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, JD Edwards, or similar accounting platforms
  • Electronic invoicing and payment processing systems
  • Data entry and financial reporting tools

Pay Details: $22.00 to $35.00 per hour
