LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring an experienced Production Manager to oversee daily operations, troubleshoot and resolve production issues, and ensure safety compliance. This role requires at least 10 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment and 5 years of supervisory experience. This direct hire role is in Woodridge, IL and the anticipated salary is between $100,000-$120,000 per year.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee daily operations and staff in the production department, including production planning and scheduling, inventory control, and maintenance of plant facilities
· Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve any production issues or make recommendations to management
· Review preventative maintenance scheduling
· Perform daily walkthroughs to ensure equipment and machinery are functioning properly
· Communicate process changes and data reviews to management
· Develop and implement improvements to production efficiency
· Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards
· Use dashboards or ERP reporting to monitor key production performance indicators
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent education or work experience required
· 10+ years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
· Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience required
· Working knowledge of OSHA requirements
· Forklift certification
· Experience with ERP or production management systems
· Excellent attention to detail
