\nRoles & Responsibilities
\n Condado Tacos is looking for Assistant General Managers who are expressive, knowledgeable, and hospitality driven to support the General Manager in all things Condado. An Assistant General Manager’s primary focus is the oversight of daily operations, staff, sales and guest experience. Management is expected to engage with all roles of the operation, and to be an active resource for our hourly and management teams’ day-in and day-out.
\n Aside from making sure our team is successful, here are a bunch of things we focus on daily:
Always putting the guest experience first!
\nEnsuring every item that is delivered to the guest meets the highest standards for quality and presentation set by Condado
\nConstant awareness of the feel and vibe in the restaurant and setting the standard for the rest of the staff
\nNot only finding the best talent, but training and supporting the team daily
\nServing the local community as if they were friends and family; whether inside or outside the four walls.
\nDedication to health and safety standards outlined by Condado and the Department of Health
\nAssisting GM in controlling COGS, labor, and other budgets as set by GM and Regional Manager.
\nWriting schedule for Front of House staff while taking into account team member’s strengths and weaknesses, and business trends
\nWork closely with GM on Condado initiatives
\nAssisting with interviewing, hiring, and training of all new team members
\nAdminister human resources and risk management compliance issues
\nSupervision of side work for all roles
\nOpening and/or Closing
\nAssisting in the execution of weekly inventory
\nMaintain Condado store emails
\nBuild and adjust ordering pars for daily and weekly food, liquor and dry stock orders
\nTemp and taste all food items
\nOther duties as needed
\nMinimum Qualifications
\nPassion for the industry including the highest standards for service and guest interaction.
\nMinimum 1-2 years of previous full-service restaurant manager experience required.
\nManager ServSafe Certification preferred
\nPassion for tacos, tequila, and beer
\nBe willing to work nights & weekends
\nDedication to health and safety standards outlined by Condado and the Department of Health
\nFamiliarity with scheduling systems, point of sale, invoicing and inventory systems (preferred)
\nPhysical Requirements:
\nWhile performing the duties of this position, the team member is required to stand or walk for hours at a time up to 4-8 hours.
\nTeam members are frequently required to sit; stoop; bend; shake, stir, pour, and reach with hands and arms.
\nTeam members will continuously be performing hand and wrist work including grasping and bending and twisting and fine hand manipulation.
\nTeam members will continuously lift, carry and balance 0-25 pounds, occasionally lift or carry 25-50 lbs, and rarely lift over 50lbs.
