\n\nAbout the Role
\nWe're seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance operations in a high-volume food and beverage manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for driving equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, employee development, and continuous improvement while ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of the facility.
\n\nJob Responsibilities

- Lead and develop the maintenance team to ensure reliable operation of plant equipment and facility systems \n
- Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and extend asset life \n
- Ensure maintenance activities are properly planned and scheduled using the CMMS to maximize labor efficiency and equipment availability \n
- Monitor equipment performance and implement strategies to improve uptime, productivity, and maintenance effectiveness \n
- Serve as the primary point of contact for emergency maintenance issues and critical equipment failures \n
- Partner with Engineering and Operations to identify equipment upgrades, process improvements, and capital projects \n
- Evaluate new equipment proposals and provide recommendations based on cost, reliability, and operational impact \n
- Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance supplies to support efficient plant operations while controlling costs \n
- Develop and monitor maintenance budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support capital planning initiatives \n
- Establish maintenance procedures, best practices, and performance standards that support world-class maintenance operations \n
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, food safety standards, GMPs, environmental requirements, and company policies \n
- Lead hiring, coaching, performance management, scheduling, and employee development while fostering a strong safety and continuous improvement culture \n
Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and maintenance leadership experience \n
- 5+ years of maintenance, mechanical engineering, or industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment \n
- Previous leadership or management experience leading maintenance teams \n
- Food and beverage manufacturing experience preferred; dairy manufacturing experience is a plus \n
- Experience developing and managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs \n
- Knowledge of CMMS systems, maintenance planning, and maintenance best practices \n
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, utilities, and facility systems \n
- Experience managing maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and capital improvement projects \n
- Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills \n
- Technical certifications in electrical, welding, refrigeration, boilers, wastewater, plumbing, or related trades are a plus \n
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English \n
